will get you the radio code from a dealer.
If you have Vag Com, once you select 'Radio' control module, you
need to then click 'Adv Meas Values', then select (in my case block 81 or
'serial number' in that dropdown list) to see the actual radio serial number.
If you don't have vag com, then you have to pull the radio using the special
tools (cheap) sold online to pull the radio and find it there. Or a service tech can do this in 15 seconds.
